Chicken-Legs

I have never enjoyed run rather I have never been able to run unless I am being chased and Its a matter  of life of death.
I have recently been taking BQX classes two nights a week, and guess what they make me run for 5 mins straight.. Yuck.
The other day I notice my legs are starting to get tighter,
which is exciting to see and feel!
How to see more changes over the next few months.

Zumba

Haha unfortunately this is entirely accurate...sad to say.
Colie and I did a two hour charity marathon of Zumba about a month ago and it. Was. Brutal!
Fun? Yes of course, I mean you are shaking your booty to latin music (some with a little more booty than others...)
When we got there I thought we would be top of the group because we were among the 6
relatively young people there.
Let me just tell you...there were some oldies there that whooped my ass with those moves!
But, no matter how hard it is to do the moves, it burns a TON of calories and is so much more fun than walking and walking and not going anywhere! (I hate you treadmill **squinty evil eyes**)

Manda's 1st Month

Oy....where to start...
Well...I like my hair!! lol
As you can tell there are many problem areas but  I can't get discouraged by the picture,
I've done that long enough, and I know I need to change.
My biggest problem...carbs. I hearts them.
But I know I can do this, and I have people believing in me too so I have to!
First month, few results, but I am learning what to do and what not to...
learning is definitely discouraging but it has to be done!

Colie 1st Month

The first Month!
The areas I want to work on are my arms, abs and legs.
My stomach is my trouble area; with hard work I can make things happen.
I struggle with  Sweets! I love them, crave them all the time. . .
Can I have some without going crazy?
Not sure but I def keep you posted.
Looking forward to  seeing results with the hard work I  put in.

November Promise


November is here! Amanda and I wrapped up October with small results but its good to remember this was our 1st Month! We're learning what works for us, to push ourselves to the limit and remember its going to hurt sometimes. We are looking forward  to a new month with new goals and hard workouts.
The next thing to attack is our diet along with learning portion control.
